Overview
Following quite a while of filling in as a firemanone who consumes books and makes the most of his workGuy Montag meets a young lady who makes him question his calling and the estimations of the general public where he lives. Stephan Hoye's portrayal is consummately coordinated to the topic: his tone is low and dismal, and his rhythm shifts with the writing to ratchet up pressure and tension. He creates spot-on voices, and his variants of the rough Captain Beatty, the perky Clarisse, and the dreadful teacher Faber are particularly great.
